There’s a moment a lot of us have had recently.
A coworker casually drops the name of some tool you’ve never heard of. You scroll past another AI headline. You watch a demo that’s freakishly smooth and you just sit there thinking, wait… what?
Maybe you stayed quiet. Maybe you nodded like you understood. Maybe you secretly wondered if literally everyone else already gets this stuff way better than you do.
Spoiler: almost nobody does.
Most people are still sorting through their own thoughts about it. Some feel overwhelmed. Others assume it’s not something they need to worry about yet. A lot of people just quietly stepped back when things started accelerating, which is a completely understandable response to something that moves this fast.
I’ve been right there with you. Still am some days. I’m basically white-knuckling it just to stay in the conversation.
AI Odyssey is for the rest of us. Not the people who were already fluent when this all took off, but the ones who watched the world start rearranging itself and wondered why nobody sent the memo.
I’m not here to teach you AI. I’m here to figure it out alongside you. I’ll share what I’m actually trying, what works, what doesn’t, and what still has me confused. No talking down. No pretending the fog has lifted when it hasn’t.
You don’t need to have it sorted out. Just being willing to poke at the questions is enough.
